Our new Mid-Market boutique studio is conveniently located downtown to expedite your workout even during the busiest of workweeks. Blue Sparrow Pilates Mid-Market is located at 990 Market Street at Taylor Street & 6th, between the Powell and Civic Center BART stations. Our Mid-Market studio will offer Pilates private, duet, and group Trio Circuit classes.

New York Times named Ubuntu “the second-best restaurant in America.” Celebrating the natural bounty of the earth, Ubuntu is less about a philosophy of no meat and instead a celebration of our own biodynamic gardens, what shows up at the door and relationships with the local farms in Napa. Chef Jeremy Fox looks forward to offering vegetable-inspired meals and supporting the local community while simultaneously presenting extraordinary, innovative cuisine to be enjoyed by both omnivores and herbivores. Jeremy will showcase his considerable talents and knowledge of the very best in farm-to-table cuisines, fine-tuned from his time at Charles Nob Hill, Rubicon, and Manresa Restaurant.
Ubuntu’s award winning Chef, Jeremy Fox, has created a carnivore’s perspective to vegetarian cooking. “No brown rice. We’re a different kind of vegetarian restaurant”, says Fox. "Before Ubuntu, I was really into pigs. I’d see the animal and think of what I’d do with all the different parts. Now I look at kohlrabi that same way and imagine what I’ll do with the root, the stalk, the leaves."

Blue Sparrow Pilates will be hosting artist and the World's Smallest Postal Service, a teeny tiny transcription service and roaming post office. Lea Redmond is the Postmaster, setting up her tiny mobile office where visitors can write a letter and have it turned into a "world's smallest letter." The letter is transcribed on a miniature desk in the tiniest of script, sealed with a miniscule wax seal with the sender's intial pressed into it, packaged up with a magnifying glass in a glassine envelope, and finished off with a large wax seal. Come write a special letter to a loved one (or to Santa) for the holidays!
