Beginning Equipment Pilates
In our Beginning Equipment Pilates class we introduce students to essential exercises using the Reformer, as well as utilize the Springboard, Stability Chair, and other small props and Matwork for a dynamic, well-rounded Pilates session. This class is perfect for those new to Pilates or still building up strength and an understanding of the Pilates method.
Intermediate Equipment Pilates
This class will build on the Beginning-level exercises and move at a slightly faster pace. This class utilizes the Reformer, Springboard, Matwork and small props from the beginning-level class, with slightly more challenging exercises and modifications. This class is best-suited to those who have an understanding of the basic principles of Pilates. New students to Pilates are recommended to try a Beginning Class or Introductory Private session(s) first.
Advanced Equipment Pilates
This class will build on the Intermediate-level exercises, move at a faster pace, and require a firm understanding of the application of the basic principles in Pilates. You should be able to safely perform most beginning and intermediate exercises. New props may be introduced, to build on and challenge our more Advanced students looking to deepen their practice and strengthen their bodies in new ways.
Mixed-Level Equipment Pilates
This class is intended for all levels of students and utilizes the Reformer and Springboard, as well as small props and Matwork. This class is inclusive of students at different levels in their practice, and modifications are made to account for each individual’s body and strength. Because this is a mixed-level class, you should be able to safely perform beginning level exercises and have a basic understanding of the Reformer.
Prenatal Equipment Pilates
Our Prenatal Pilates class is designed to be especially kind to your changing body. Focus is placed on strengthening the pelvic floor and back muscles to maintain healthy alignment. This workout will help with comfort during pregnancy and aid in a speedy postpartum recovery.
Pilates and TRX
This class combines the TRX Suspension training with Pilates conditioning exercises and principles. Born in the U.S. Navy Seals, TRX Suspension Training® is a revolutionary method of leveraged bodyweight exercise. In this class you will safely perform hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries, all at the intensity you choose. Our Professional Pilates and TRX Trained teachers ensure that you’re building strength while maintaining the basic principles of Pilates. All Fitness levels are welcome in this mixed-level class.
Athletic Conditioning
Athletic Conditioning classes are designed to cross train for injury prevention and performance enhancement. This class will utilize the Reformer, TRX®, Springboard, and all the small props that are the bells and whistles of an enhanced Pilates session. This is a challenging class requiring an understanding and ability to perform intermediate and advanced Pilates exercises.
