The Reformer
Probably the most important apparatus used in Pilates, this unit’s innovative spring based resistance and pulley system replicates the free, multi-dimensional movements of daily life. Suitable for all fitness levels including athletes, rehab recipients, the active aging, and regular fitness enthusiasts, and facilitates hundreds of effective full-body exercises.
The V2Max Reformer
Facilitating limitless exercise possibilities this one-of-a-kind unit multi-tasks as a standard Reformer, plus a virtual Cadillac and a breakthrough multi-planar, biomechanics training tool. The premier tool for Pilates based sport-specific, rehab and cross-training movement.
The Cadillac
This versatile piece of equipment features a variety of spring lengths and tensions, as well as multiple spring attachment sites providing different levels of resistance to support or challenge the body. This allows arms and legs to be worked independently ensuring muscle balance in the upper and lower body as well as stability through the core.
The Spring Wall
The Spring Wall offers an intense overall workout with many similarities to the Cadillac but can be used in group classes with exercises standing, kneeling, sitting, and lying.
The Stability Chair
The Stability Chair looks like a chair with upright handles, and challenges strength, stability, and control. Ideal for high-performance exercisers and athletes, fitness enthusiasts, as well as rehab clients, the STOTT PILATES® Stability Chair helps rebalance muscles and provides a full-body workout. It also facilitates those who need to stay in a seated or upright position.
The Gyrotonic Archway
An ordinary painter’s ladder provided the inspiration for what later became the Gyrotonic Archway, and while experimenting with the painter’s ladder, Juliu Horvath envisioned and developed a multitude of exercises that users could perform on such a structure. The unique qualities of the ladder shape allow users to stretch and strengthen certain muscle groups that would otherwise be more difficult to access if the movements were attempted on other structures, and recent additions such as a rotating propeller and adjustable arms make the Gyrotonic Archway a truly unique piece of exercise equipment.
The Gyrotonic Pulley Tower
After many years of research and development, Juliu Horvath began the make available to GYROTONIC Trainers the Pulley Tower Combination Unit, often called the Pulley Tower, and various versions have appeared over the last 20 years. These models may look slightly different, but basically the function is the same on all machines, in that the pulleys operate in the same way to produce constant and smooth Resistance. The Handle Unit at the end of the bench has also remained the same over time, with small changes implemented that have made the brake and rotational mechanisms function more smoothly.
The TRX Suspension Trainer
Founded and developed by U.S. Navy SEAL Randy Hetrick, the original TRX® Suspension Training® concept was born out of necessity. TRX is a length of suspended parachute webbing designed to safely build strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility.
